Alder & Ash is thrilled to introduce Chef Jason Stratton, whose innovative spirit and passion for excellence promise to elevate our culinary offerings to new heights. A Food & Wine Magazine Best New Chef in 2010, multiple James Beard Award nominee and Top Chef 2016 contestant, this Seattle native brings deep roots and passion for his home state's cuisine to the corner of 7th & Pike in Downtown Seattle.

Jason's diverse background, from his early mentorship under Chef Bruce Naftaly at Le Gourmand beginning at age 16, to his extensive travels across Europe, has equipped him with a deep mastery of global cuisines. His acclaimed tenures at Spinasse, Artusi, Aragona, mamnoon, mbar, and most recently, Mezzanotte, showcase his exceptional skills in the kitchen. We look forward to Jason’s creations as he hones in the flavors of the Pacific Northwest.
